Generally, two or three character domains, as well as two digit domains are guaranteed to be classified at the highest Premium tier and will cost approximately 500 USD/year. The following may also be deemed Premium, but at lower fee tiers:
- Short to medium-length names (4-7 characters) that are evaluated for premium value and demand.
- Longer names (more than 7 characters) that are assessed for brand or commercial value.
All other .sr domains are available at standard pricing.The Suriname authorities use a Premium domain classification system that examines all new domain applications for scarcity, demand, and the inherent market value of certain names. They will examine all applications and potentially deem some as Premium, which can significantly raise the annual price of a domain.
